What is Hound&Proud about?

We are a premium Australian dog treat company that handcrafts natural healthy dog treats. We use high quality human grade Australian meat cuts and a variety of different Australian suppliers to ensure that your furry friend is getting only the best treats around.

We pride ourselves on our healthy but tasty ingredients and we are proud of what we put in our treats. That's why we want you to know exactly whats in them- no extra added nasties or added preservatives just wholesome human grade ingredients and a whole lot of love.

Even better all our treats are proudly made right here in Australia. 

 

How did Hound&Proud begin?

The idea of Hound&Proud all began when I (Alex) and my partner rescued two little dogs called Marley (Mini Foxie X) and Jasper (Fox Terrier X Chihuahua). From that moment on we wanted to give Marley and Jasper the best quality of life we could, this started with their food and treats.

I made it my goal to try make the most natural and healthy treats I could for them and really what started as just an exploration of an idea has now become my passion. I began testing ideas and ingredients and I can tell you Marley and Jasper didn't complain about all the extra taste testing. With a tick of approval from my taste testers and two wagging tails, Hound&Proud was created. Now every good doggie out there can enjoy these delicious treats and be a hound that's proud just like Marley and Jasper.
